QBO Payments

From AYSO Wiki

AYSO is NOT eligible to use QBO Payments

The credit card processing and payment collection service Intuit provides, requires a UNIQUE TIN (Tax ID Number) for each QBO Payments subscription.

If you have inadvertently set up QBO Payments, please Schedule A Call so that we can cancel the account together as there are a few steps that need to be followed.

You may get an automated notification from Intuit - either in your email or a pop-up in QuickBooks directly - that indicates that you are Pre-Qualified for QuickBooks Payments. Please disregard this marketing from Intuit. Nothing has changed and we are still not eligible.

Alternatives to QBO Payments

There are a few other ways to collect payments for your invoices.

  • Most banks allow bill payment services to either send funds through ACH or check
  • Chase Bank allows easy ACH transfers between Chase accounts
  • Chase bank offers credit card processing if you need to accept credit cards.

PLEASE NOTE: If you use QBO Payments, without advance notice, you run the risk of funds collected being withheld for tax purposes, experience disruptions in service or even account closure.
Please do not set up QBO Payments for your Section/Area/Region.
