PlayMetrics Forms and Custom Questions
You do not need to create every registration field from scratch. PlayMetrics already collects standard player and contact information. Custom questions let your Region gather additional details, similar to custom questions in Sports Connect.
What PlayMetrics already collects
- Player’s first and last name, gender and date of birth.
- Primary player contact’s name and email.
- An address, added to the profile during paid registration.
You do not need to recreate these standard fields as custom questions.
When to use custom questions
Player Questions are asked for each player. Examples include buddy or coach requests, school information and medical notes.
Program Questions are asked once of the player contact during registration. An example is the contact’s occupation.
Volunteer questions can collect additional information such as experience, interests or shirt size.
Suggested questions for your Region
Visit the PlayMetrics Registration Question Library for suggested player and volunteer questions you can copy and paste into PlayMetrics. We will also try to include this resource in the PlayMetrics Help Center as part of the setup process.
Once you build your questions and forms, you can reuse them by copying questions or duplicating your setup for future registrations.
