Stack Pay Implementation
Until 2025, all AYSO Registration Portals have processed parents payment transactions on a single credit card processing account (aggregate credit card merchant ID - AMID). Starting in 2025, a phased approach to implementing individual credit card processing accounts for each Region has been initiated (individual credit card merchant ID – IMID).
The process to migrate from the AMID to the IMID is a two-step process including:
1. IMID single-use application link. (Note, if you are going to forward the link to your Treasurer, e.g., do not click the link, it will be assigned to you.)
2. Confirmation to Stack Sports of the timing of the change
Benefits
- Refunds indefinitely for transactions conducted on your new Merchant Account, no float required
- Daily deposits of registration funds
- The ability to process refunds of AMID transactions via the Region's IMID
- Development is being explored to allow inclusion of NPF in refunded amount from Region’s bank account
- Customizable stand-alone donation pages, ideal for fundraising for equipment, travel/tournament teams or other Region needs
- Tap-to-pay without individual transaction fees for cash free concession stands, fan wear sales, VIP parking or any other need

Beneficial Owner
For the purposes of the Region's individual Merchant ID application, the RC or Treasurer will sign the application as the 'Beneficial Owner' on behalf of the Region. Note the application will require the social security number for the signer. As Credit Card processors are banks, this requirement is the same as becoming a singer on the Region's bank account and does not create any additional liability to the signer.
Implementation Phases
The assigned phases and timing are as follows:
Phases | Participants | Completion |
Pilot | Region 65 | April |
Beta | United + 7 Regions | May |
Phase 1 | 41 Regions + Sections 6, 8, 9 & 13 | July - August |
Phase 2 | Sections 1, 2, 3 & 5 | September - October |
Phase 3 | Sections 7, 10, 11, 12 & 80 | October - November |
Timing
If the above timing does not work for the individual Regions, Regions may indicate their preference by completing the onboarding form.
